When riding in powder, it’s very important to continually adjust the position of your board. I do this by adjusting my knees consciously. To be more precise, in powder it’s important how smooth you make “edge – to – edge” Transition sequences. I’m very happy with “Accublade” because it is responsive enough without feeling any stress. The direct connection to the board without heel and toe lift is the most outstanding feature of this step-in system, it enables me to put pressure on the board efficiently with improve board control.
It’s reliable not only on powder but also in tough conditions like Alaska. On groomed snow you experience the quickness of its response. In addition, the step- in process has become easier than the old step-in system because the side walls of the binding guide your toe to the right position, you can start riding quickly even if you are a beginner. |

“Direct response” is the best feature I feel when riding with “Accublade”. It’s like your boots are connected directly to the board because the bindings have a low profile and are light. You can adjust the highback setting according to your riding style, I like the highback to be fit tight to my boots with no forward lean. Once the setting is done, you can always ride in the same position which is difficult when using conventional bindings, it’s very comfortable & convenient. Since there are almost no metal parts inside the boots sole, it’s became flexible which enables me to ride the board with complete control. |

“Accublade” is great for riding because it is responsive. It reduces the load when hiking or sitting on the lift chairs. I have been using Shimano boots & bindings for almost all my career as a professional snowboarder and these are the best I have ever used. I got anxious when I transfer from my old system to “Accublade” but once I tried it the feel of the ride was really good and I cannot ride without Accublade anymore.
I strongly recommend this new system. Just try!

I love “Accublade” because it has all these features:
Easiness of step-in for a quick start and light weight for less fatigue when hiking.
Adjustability of boot and binding connection to allow the loose setting which makes it easier to shift your weight.
I never miss exciting sections because the liner in the boot is perfectly fit to my foot.
The Accublade System makes it easy for me to control the board when carving, riding in halfpipes or in parks and it gave me the best winter last year.
The Tripper Boot uses high quality leather. I recommend the brown ones. As you oil them and use them the comfort will increase and you will become more attached to them.
